The LAB is an athletic development platform that connects athletes and parents with experienced coaches. Coaches use The LAB to schedule training sessions, collect payments, plan structured workouts, and track athlete progress with goals, leaderboards, and an optional jersey progression system.

Yes! Creating a profile is free for athletes and parents. Coaches get everything for free — your own page, scheduling, payments, activity library, Communities, calendar sync — with no limits. The LAB earns a small share of each online payment (3.9% + $0.60, and you choose who pays it).

The LAB supports all sports. Whether it's basketball, soccer, baseball, football, lacrosse, volleyball, tennis, track and field, swimming, or any other sport — if you can coach it, you can run it through The LAB. Coaches build their own activities and training plans tailored to their sport.

Coaches collect payments online through The LAB. Athletes or parents pay when signing up for sessions, camps, or clinics, and the funds are deposited directly into the coach's bank account via Stripe. The free plan's online transaction fee is 10% + $0.70; the Pro plan reduces it to 2.9% + $0.70. Both plans also include a $2 fee on the first online booking of each month. In-person payments are also supported and free.

LAB Jerseys are a color-based progression system — like martial arts belts — that coaches use to recognize athlete development. Athletes progress from White to Black as they hit milestones and complete goals. Coaches can create their own jersey progression (called a "Style") or adopt another coach's Style.

Use the Browse Coaches page to search by sport and location. Each coach has their own page with their bio, schedule, available sessions, and pricing. You can book directly from their page.

Submit a coach application. Your page goes live as soon as you submit, so you can set it up and start booking athletes right away. The green check — our verification badge — is reviewed by hand; college or professional playing or coaching experience is required for it, with exceptions for high-level youth coaches who have strong references.
